Finishing is the last step in the banknote production process where fully printed sheets are cut into individual banknotes for further processing in either a single note inspection machines or just banded, counted, seal-wrapped and packed, ready for delivery. CUTevo, the latest innovation technology in fully automatic feeding and cutting banknote sheets into single banknotes for further processing in single note inspection machines.

CUTevo marks the next chapter in a long-standing relationship between koenig & bauer Banknote Solutions and Giesecke & Devrient, leveraging the respective expertise and competencies of each organisation to create a highly secure and efficient solution for integrated banknote finishing and quality management.

Automatically feeding the sheets directly from the sheet pile, counting for control and layer separation􀉟 serial number registration.􀀁In the automatic sheet feeding, the sheets are counted and separated in a freely selectable amount from 50 to 200 sheets in increments of 10 before being handover to the robot system. The robot system massage/separate the sheets and handover to vibrating table, airing and jogging the sheets to a perfect aligned layer in preparation for cutting. The cutting blade cuts the sheets into single notes with only two cut units. The amount of sheets and or serial number information are transfered to the BN carrier with help from RFID technology. The CUTevo has the capacity to supply 1 fully integrated Giesecke & Devrient single note inspection machine with banknotes.
