Canadian Bank Note Company, Limited (CBN) was founded in 1897 to print banknotes and other high security printed products. We are privileged to have supplied currency continuously to the Bank of Canada since the latter’s inception in 1935 and to have designed the complete new range of banknotes recently introduced into circulation. Over the years, we have expanded our banknote market base worldwide, first to the Americas, then to Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia. We have supplied payment systems related security documents to twenty-seven countries over the last five years. In addition, we are currently the sole supplier of passports and related documents to the Canadian Passport Office and of visas and immigration documents to Immigration Canada. We are also a major supplier of postage products to Canada Post.
