Description:
The Mint of Poland is one of the oldest mints in the world, boasting nearly 260 years of experience since its establishment by King Stanislaw August Poniatowski. It is a renowned producer of circulating coins for central banks and issuers worldwide.
Our mint is recognized as one of the most technologically advanced globally, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery capable of producing 3 billion pieces of monometallic and 1 billion pieces of bimetallic circulation coins annually. The modern coin presses at the Mint of Poland can produce up to 15 coins per second, showcasing our efficiency and precision.
We pride ourselves on utilizing over a hundred-coin production techniques, far surpassing the typical range of a dozen to a few dozen techniques offered by other mints. This expertise has earned us recognition and awards in prestigious international industry competitions.
Innovation is at the core of our operations, as evidenced by our pioneering production of space coins. In 2024, we achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first in the world to design a flying coin, the UFO MP-1766
Additionally, we are a renowned manufacturer of gold investment products, with private label products accounting for more than 50 percent of the value of all investment gold sales. In 2023 alone, we supplied nearly 2 tons of gold to our customers, primarily in the form of gold bars and bullion coins.
