The Federal Reserve System’s Cash Services group (FedCash® Services) is responsible for strategic leadership to the 28 Reserve Bank cash processing locations across the country by formulating policies, operational guidance, and technology strategies for U.S. currency and coin services provided nationally and internationally. FedCash Services’ primary mission and responsibility is to meet demand for currency and coin during normal times and in times of stress, and to maintain public confidence in U.S. currency.
