We’re pleased to share news of an event we think will matter to many of you: the Asian Cash Management Association (ACMA) Annual General Meeting and Forum, taking place in Manila, Philippines, this coming autumn.
The AGM will be held on the afternoon of 30 September 2026, followed by the main Forum on 1st & 2nd October 2026, both at the Dusit Thani Hotel Makati.
This year’s theme:
Co-operating Across the Cash Cycle: Securing Cash’s Future Together
The Forum arrives at a pivotal moment for cash in the region. While cash continues to underpin access, inclusion, resilience and public confidence, the infrastructure behind it is under mounting pressure — from changing payment behavior and declining transaction intensity in some markets, to fixed-cost dilution, access challenges, infrastructure consolidation, and shifting strategies among banks, retailers and consumers.
ACMA is convening central banks, commercial banks, retailers, cash management companies, industry suppliers and technology providers to confront these issues together — and this is exactly the conversation where IACA members belong. Whether you supply banknote paper, printing, sorting and authentication systems, or security components like threads, inks and polymers, this Forum is where your customers and partners will be discussing the pressures shaping their demand for years to come.
The discussions in Manila will feed directly into ACMA’s regional white paper on the Viability of the Cash Cycle in Asia Pacific a piece of work intended to frame the industry’s collective challenges and build the case for deeper collaboration across the value chain.
Why attend?
– Hear firsthand from central banks and commercial operators on the operational and policy pressures facing cash in the region
– Contribute your perspective to a white paper that will influence regional policy conversations
– Connect with peers across the full cash cycle, from issuance to circulation
Registration fee: USD 350 for ACMA members / USD 450 for non-members
