The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games 500-yen bicolor clad coin

The 500 yen Commemorative Coins for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games were issued in November 2020.
On 9 April 2019, the Ministry of Finance Japan announced that a new 500 yen circulating coin would be issued in the first half of fiscal 2021 (April-September 2021) by changing the materials etc. of the current nickel-brass 500 yen coin with a view to strengthening the ability to prevent counterfeiting.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic 500 yen commmorative coins can be considered as a test of the new 500 yen circulating coin, because these coins have the almost same specifications, including the weight (7.1g), diameter (26.5mm) and the following security features:
Combination of bicolor and clad (ring: nickel-brass, core: three-layer structure of cupronickel and copper) and, Helical ridges.
The mintage of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games 500 yen coin was 4,000,000.
