The “Wildlife of Kazakhstan” commemorative circulating coin series celebrates the country’s exceptional natural heritage and features five iconic representatives of Kazakhstan’s wildlife: the saigaantelope, argali, snow leopard, great bustard and saker falcon.

The series extends the unified design concept of Kazakhstan’s modern cash currency. Since 2023, the National Bank of Kazakhstan has been gradually introducing the new “Saka style” banknote series, which also features native wildlife. The release of these coins further develops this artistic concept by creating a unified visual identity across both banknotes and coins.
