A unique, multi-component security system is used, which, along with well-known security solutions, provides multi-layered protection against counterfeiting. Technologically proven solutions for the security system’s elements make this banknote unique.
The unusual denomination 80 rubles coincides with 80-th Anniversary and circulation of 80 thousand pieces as well.
Overall integration of Features
The well composed design, featuring objects of high cultural and historical significance, classifies the banknote as unique and unmistakably identifies the issuing country.
There are watermark (apple flower), electrotype (denomination 80), kinegram stripe 15 mm, see-through denomination, intaglio printing, Br code for visually impaired.
Main parts of design are the monument located at the Brest fortress, hands of woman and child, flying cranes (an allusion to the greatest Soviet movie The Cranes Are Flying (1957) and apple flowers which are blooming at the beginning of May (9th of May is the Victory Day of the USSR celebrated in Belarus).
