A comprehensive information campaign was launched by the BSP for every stage of the demonetization process of the old banknotes series starting January 2015. The information campaign aimed to inform the public of the timeline and procedures for the exchange of their NDS old series banknotes and to ensure the orderly shift to the NGC banknote series.
